No Apple, we don’t change the name

The new RedUzum single will be released on all streaming platforms, except Apple Music! Remarkably, they refuse to distribute the track because of its title ‘Sea Change I’ and demanded us to change the name first. We refuse for the sake of artistic freedom.

Maybe we will even release a ‘Sea Change III’ someday, because we won’t let ourselves be influenced. As if Apple itself has never used an unnecessary ‘i’ in product names…

UPDATE (June 1): After we refused to change the song title, Apple Music accepted the track after all! So you can now listen to RedUzum there as well!

Meet RedUzum. A new krautrock and psychedelic postrock band. This is what happens when three Orange Glow members (Eric + Marc + Han) shape the music entirely together.

The first single ‘Sea Change I’ will be released on May 15 2026 on all streaming platforms. But if you can’t wait, we can already reveal that it’s available on Bandcamp now. Enjoy.

Our new single and EP Kids (RIP) is out now on all streaming platforms. This is the 4th single in our seasonal series, leading up to the release of our new album. After Winter (Dark Horse), Spring (Ms. Captain) and Summer (Arizona), this one marks the Autumn — and we’re getting close…

Kids (RIP) is a sad but tender autumn song, about a special girl I wish I had known better when we were just kids.

It took a while, but our very first single ‘Sunken’ (from way back in 2004) has finally made it online 🎈 Bouncy indie rock from when we were still puppies. You can listen exclusively on our Bandcamp page. Enjoy this little side treat. And the bunny.

Summer single and EP: Arizona

Our new single and EP Arizona is out now on all streaming platforms. The first full-band single from the upcoming album. So drummer Marc and bass player Han join me on this one!

The song Arizona was inspired by the turmoil surrounding the U.S. presidential elections and the same struggle for power that once dispossessed Native Americans of their land.

After this summer release, the next single will be out on October 1 (Fall). Followed by a new album, early 2026. Cheers! Eric

Spring single: Ms. Captain

The new single Ms. Captain is out now on all streaming platforms. A gentle indie pop track with piano by Demi Mazurka (previously in Mercy Giants).

It’s about a magical meeting of souls, unfolding your mind like a dancer. It’s the 2nd of 4 singles, all related to another season. Great thanks to Annelies Fleskens (female voice) for singing with me again 🙏🏼

After this Spring song the next singles will be released on June 1 (Summer) and October 1 (Fall). Followed by a full album.

Winter single: Dark Horse

Our new single Dark Horse is out now on all streaming platforms. It’s an intimate, warm winter song with acoustic guitar, cello and two vocals. It’s the first of 4 new singles, all related to another season.

The next season singles will be released on March 1 (Spring), June 1 (Summer) and October 1 2025 (Fall). Followed by a full album late 2025.
