Orange Glow is the indie pop vehicle of an alt. singer-songwriter (Eric). With various line-ups, he has recorded 3 albums since 2008. New stuff will be released in 2025 and 2026.
With his roots in 90’s lo-fi it all started with indie pop on the first album (the Magic Tale of Flying Kite in the Animal Kingdom). Evolving into indie rock on Down to Earth and exploring trippy post-rock on the third album, Have a Safe Trip, Dear (2018), a true band effort.
New releases
Subsequently, Eric retreated to the remote north of the Netherlands, where he constructed his own recording studio during the COVID lockdowns. In his own domain Orange Glow also returned to intimate indie songs again. As you can hear on the new releases.
Independent and resistant to trends, Orange Glow follows its own path. No glossy overproduction, just purity and raw expressive power. Not chasing hypes or ‘social’ media buzz, only full focus on the songs themselves and how they should sound. Uncompromising.
Red Uzum
